to the buzz cut

begin to talk 
in mammal

when fun and joy 
see saw
on swing sets

and napkins
turn into straight jackets
for knifes and spoons

huddle and become 
hostages to an
unlit cafe

under water people
to hoist the world up
with their tails

know of soulstorms
